What is Python?

How to install Python?

Here are the steps for installing Python on different platforms:

  2. macOS:

    • Use Homebrew: brew install python

    • Or download it from the official website.

  3. Linux:

    • Python is often pre-installed. Check with python3 --version.

    • To install/update: sudo apt-get install python3

Task 1: Install Python in your respective OS, and check the version.

  1. To install Python in Ubuntu use:
sudo apt install pyhton3
  1. To check the Python version use:
python3 --version
